THE FUN STUFF

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? To talk to animals—to be able to tell horses, dogs, and cats how to pose would be amazing!
WHAT IS THE LAST THING YOU BINGE-WATCHED? Handmaid’s Tale.
WHAT’S THE MOST INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOURSELF? I was once a Jungle Cruise skipper at Walt Disney World.
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE? Pizza and White Sox baseball.
WHO IS YOUR EQUESTRIAN IDOL? My wife is pretty amazing—I wouldn’t be in this industry without her love and passion for all things horses.
IF YOU WEREN’T IN THE EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY INDUSTRY, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING? Probably flying airplanes somewhere—and taking pictures of everything and anything.
WHAT SONG DO YOU LOVE TO HAVE ON REPEAT? The Hamilton soundtrack.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? [American landscape photographer] Ansel Adams has always inspired me. I named my dog after him!
WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? I’d like to earn my private pilot’s license.
WHAT WAS YOUR BEST PHOTOSHOOT? One of my favorites involved two things I love—airplanes and horses! I had the great pleasure of photographing a client alongside a WWII bomber that she had named her horse after. It was pretty amazing to have the horse brought to the airport just for her portrait session.
